Meet the Dr.
Dr. Vincent Lam
Dr. Lam provides friendly, gentle, and compassionate care that helps patients achieve and maintain a beautiful smile for life! Along with a dedication to providing exceptional clinical care with the highest ethical standards, Dr. Lam has a passion for helping his patients feel at ease. Trust, integrity, and efficiency are central to his values. When he arrives at the office each morning, he looks forward to visiting with returning patients, meeting new ones, and treating every patient to the exceptional dental care they need and deserve.
Currently based in Burien, Dr. Lam is originally from Orange County, California. He earned his dental degree from the renowned Temple University in Philadelphia where he treated a diverse patient base and gained exposure to all facets of dentistry. Dr. Lam also completed a one-year postdoctoral residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Wichita State University. During this program, he gained skills in various specialized areas of dentistry including the art of placing dental implants and the intricacies of root canal treatment.
Dr. Lam also values providing dentistry to underserved communities. He started his dental journey volunteering at UCSD student-run dental clinics, which inspired his interest in dentistry. He served twice with the Mission of Mercy in Philadelphia, PA and in Salinas, KS, and he also volunteers annually at the King County Dental Clinic at Key Arena. Dr. Lam is honored to reinvest in his community and continue helping the underserved.
When not busy attending continuing education courses to enhance his dental knowledge and skills, Dr. Lam likes to spend his free time exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He enjoys taking in the expansive food scene in Seattle, photography, and cooking.

Dr. Coleman’s initially started his practice based on his strong belief in minimally invasive dentistry. He also has a love for new technology, patient comfort, and clinical excellence. These are still values that Seahurst Smiles cherishes and strives to uphold.

Our Team
Tina – Scheduler
I am here to welcome and care for you with the respect you deserve. My dental career began in orthodontics as a chairside assistant in 1988. My favorite seasons are fall, winter, and spring. I love living in the Pacific Northwest because of the fresh air, rain, and beautiful beaches. I enjoy paper crafting with friends.
Michelle – Financial Coordinator
I’ve been working in dentistry since 2013. After gaining knowledge in the clinical environment, I now specialize in insurance, billing, and financials. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. If I have free time, I enjoy sewing projects, watching historical dramas, and picking up interesting factoids. Next time you see me, I’d love to hear any weird facts that you know.
Laura – Assistant
I have been a dental assistant since 1992. I received training from Puget Sound Skills Center, Lake Washington Technical College and I have years of continuing education. I always listen to our patients’ concerns and make them feel as comfortable as I can during their dental treatment. My two children, Valerie and Derek, fill my life with joy and laughter. As a family, we enjoy hiking in the mountains, toes in the sand at Long Beach, local theme festivals, and classic car shows.
Venessa – Assistant
I am proud to say I joined this practice in 1990 after completing my dental training while in high school. Our progressive approach to dentistry has kept life fun, ever-changing, and challenging. I love our approach to dentistry and the great patients who have become friends. Being a native of the Pacific Northwest, I love the color green and am always in awe of nature. I enjoy outdoor activities and am raising my children with that same appreciation. If you take a walk with me, be prepared for me to stop without warning to snap a picture of something that caught my eye.
Paula – Hygienist
I grew up in Seattle and earned degrees from the University of Washington and Seattle University. I have been a dental hygienist for many years, and I continue to grow with my patients and professional affiliations. I am an active member of the Oral Systemic Academy and WDHA/SKCDH component. My passion is oral wellness and building relationships with my patients. Outside the office, I enjoy being in gardens, wine tasting with friends, theater, reading, and time spent with my family.
Karla – Hygienist
I have been a dental hygienist at this office for over 20 years. I love the great patients and team I get to work with every day. I am blessed to be able to provide our patients with the latest technology, training, and science available. During my “off” time I hang out with my awesome hubby and two teenage girls. We love to go on adventures, and my favorite place is Disney! I keep busy helping care for my elderly parents, hiking, watching movies, and enjoying our beautiful deck with friends and family.
